1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking your travel with Jamaica Guru, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you may not book your travel with Jamaica Guru.

2. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the following meanings:

• “Jamaica Guru” means the company/business providing the services
• “Client” means you, the person booking travel with Jamaica Guru
• “Travel Services” means any travel arrangements made by Jamaica Guru on your behalf, including but not limited to accommodations, transportation, excursions, and activities

3. Booking Process

To book your travel with Jamaica Guru, you must complete the Jamaica Guru booking form and provide all required information. Once you have completed the booking form, Jamaica Guru will review your request and send you a confirmation email if your booking is accepted. All bookings made through Jamaica Guru Travel Company are subject to availability. Reservation confirmations will be provided upon successful completion of the booking process.

4. Payment

To secure your booking, you must pay the required amount in full within the time specified by Jamaica Guru unless otherwise instructed by Jamaica Guru.

5. Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing to Jamaica Guru. The following cancellation fees will apply:

• Cancellations made more than the time specified by the our cancellation policy will incur a cancellation fee that is specified by the property manager or Airbnb, click here to check out our detailed cancellation policy.

6. Changes to Travel Services

Jamaica Guru reserves the right to make changes to your Travel Services if necessary. If Jamaica Guru makes any changes to your Travel Services, we will notify you as soon as possible. Changes to bookings are subject to availability and may be subject to additional fees.  Changes requested within seven (7-15) days of the scheduled service may not be accommodated.

7. Passports and Visas

You are responsible for obtaining all necessary passports, visas, and other travel documents for your trip It is the traveler’s responsibility to comply with any health or vaccination requirements. Jamaica Guru is not responsible for any losses or expenses incurred as a result of your failure to obtain the proper travel documents.

8. Insurance

Jamaica Guru strongly recommends that you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen events such as illness, injury, trip cancellation, or lost luggage.

9. Limitation of Liability

Jamaica Guru’s liability to you is limited to the cost of your Travel Services. Jamaica Guru is not responsible for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your travel with Jamaica Guru. Jamaica Guru Travel Company is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property during the course of the booked services.

10. Force Majeure

Jamaica Guru is not responsible for any failure to perform its obligations under these Terms and Conditions if such failure is caused by an event beyond Jamaica Guru’s reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, wars, terrorist attacks acts of government, or civil unrest.

11. General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes arising out of these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.

Additional Provisions Specific to Jamaica Guru

12. Booking through Jamaica Guru

When you book your travel through Jamaica Guru, you are booking directly with Jamaica Guru, and not with the travel service provider. Jamaica Guru acts as an agent for the travel service provider and is not responsible for the performance of the travel service provider.

13. Jamaica Guru’s Recommendations

Jamaica Guru provides recommendations for Travel Services based on our experience and knowledge. However, we cannot guarantee that you will enjoy your Travel Services.

14. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically and mentally fit to travel. You are also responsible for complying with all local laws and regulations.

15. Privacy Policy

•  By submitting a form on the Jamaica Guru Travel Company website, clients consent to being added to our mailing list. Client information will be used solely for communication purposes related to Jamaica Guru Travel Company services and promotions. Jamaica Guru Travel Company is committed to safeguarding client privacy and will not share personal information with third parties.
